Results:
Practice 1 – Test (MC) DATA – (19 students – ) – 56.6 % correct –
Use this to judge the ones you got wrong. If you got the questions wrong that most of the class got wrong THAT is NOT as bad as getting ones wrong that MOST OF THE CLASS DID NOT!! Remember that these tests are designed so that you will GET Questions Incorrect so you must make sure you see every question.

mean = 38.9  (56.6 %–  = class AP Grade 3 SD = 8.4

This means the average number of correct questions was 39 correct out of 69.
The standard deviation = 8.4 (how close the class scored together!)

95% of the class scores +/- 2 SD =  in the range  22. 1   –   55.7

You should see if the questions you got wrong are the same as most of the class below that is in red.
If you got questions wrong that most of the class got correct you need to really work through my video solutions to understand what you missed!

Practice Test 3 (4th quarter -week 2 – 1st Graded Complete AP)
Started 4/14.

This test was done in class and was the first one that was completely graded.  It was an abbreviated form of a complete AP test. This was a released a AP Test that had 10 MC questions missing and 1 grid in question missing.
Thus you should take 77 minutes (instead of 90 minutes) to complete the Part 1 (1.3 minutes x 58 questions = 75 minutes.)  Normally you have a 90 minutes to complete 69 questions:  90/69 = 1.3 minutes per question.

We completed the part 2 – free response of this test and you have a hard copy of the key for the free response.

*So Our average went up +2.3 and our Sd went down -.78. This means that the class answered more correctly and the class got statistically closer together in scores (smaller sd).
If you consider that the AP thinks that practice test 5 was a harder test than practice test 4
(needed a lower score to get a 5 for Test 4) then we really did better than the numbers show!
