Main focus:

1. To Complete Lab 10 – heat of vaporization of liquid nitrogen.

2. To Solve Combined gas Law problems
3. To determine the absolute Temperature in Celsius.

Period  7:

1) Lab 10 – heat of vaporization of Liquid Nitrogen – complete

– Used the virtual lab below to collect data for those that missed the data or the Lab.
– Reviewed IMF’s, vapor pressure, boiling points, and heat of vaporization.

           Liquid Nitrogen notes:

               N2(l) facts:     boiling point/condensation point =  -196ºC, 77 K, – 320 F

                                         heat of vaporization = 199 J/g 199 J/g

If Liquid Nitrogen was placed on table H we would need a table this wide!!!

Red line = nitrogen,  Blue line = oxygen.
