2. Complete Lab 4 including the conclusion. Please view the video above to review the possible errors. – DUE Wednesday, 9/30.
Remember your conclusion needs to 1) Describe what you accomplished based on your written objectives
2) Describe and explain fully all contributing errors that lead to your outcome.
* Do not just list errors and do not be vague!
Conclusion Basic Format:
a) What do you find ( or calculate )? Look at your objectives. State the experimental value and percent error that was obtained.
b) What were the errors in the experiment that lead you to your outcome? If your percent error was negative than logically explain what lead to that outcome. Do not just List the errors and do not be vague!
3. We will have a quiz that will encompass both the voltaic and electrolytic cell Tomorrow.

Diffraction of light demo – double slit experiment = green laser
![]() | The following is an example of an interference pattern or a diffraction pattern that occurred during today’s demo. This is the famous double slit experiment that proves light has wave properties. I pointed a green laser at a card that had 2 small double slits. The bright spots are the constructive interference while the space between the dots are destructive interference. Based on some measured values and Bragg’s Law we can calculate the distance between the slits that the light passed through AND this is what is done to measure the distance of the lattice constant from metal crystals in x-ray crystallography. |
