Welcome to the AP Chemistry Summer Institute.  This is the place that you learn the skills necessary to successfully complete AP Chemistry, without either Regents Chemistry or Honors Chemistry.  
 
Successful completion of this course will lead to AP Chemistry this fall.  Success will be determined through a few quizzes or tests on the material taught in this Institute and by the overall effort that you provide to learning these skills.  Success will be determined by me, Mr. Grodski, and will be based on your efforts through the online coursework.

Please sign up on REMIND for AP Chemistry. This is the quickest way for me to contact or update you. I welcome all parents to sign up as well. Please use the link below or the worksheet below to sign up. 
 
 
 Each of the following modules below will end with an assessment.  You can work at your own pace but you need to take the assessments, on the dates provided. YOU MUST GO IN ORDER starting with module 1 and moving through module 10. 
 
All ten modules do not have to be completed. Some are optional but the more you complete the better prepared you will be for next year.  The modules marked “required” will be checked for completion by the end of the summer. If these are not completed then I will advise guidance to contact your family about dropping AP Chemistry and signing up for Regents Chemistry.  Not everyone is ready to take AP Chemistry, especially sophomores.  The opportunity will be available in following years as I have a few juniors who take the course every year,
 
There are due dates for each module BUT if you are going away or in a camp, etc. please let me know by email and  you can catch up when you return. If you know you are going away then you could also work ahead of schedule.
 
 *If you have already completed Regents Chemistry (Juniors!) then you need to complete ONLY Modules 8, 9, & 10.
  Sophomores you need to complete the required modules.
